what kind of mileage is everyone getting out of original equipment Yamaha drive belts on their Vectors mine is a 2005 and i can't seam to get anymore than 1000 mile on one is this average or not? thanks

I beat the shit out of my Yamahas belts and usually get 4000+ kms
If I do not play tow truck I usually get a full season or better out of a a belt (2500 mi). Heat from it slipping kills them faster. You might want to try a new primary spring as age has most likely killed the one on your sled.
