I am a big fan of Enticer long tracks. I am rebuilding one now, and looking at options for improving the track and skid while it's in the garage. Using 7 tooth drivers, I figure I could probably use a skid anywhere up to 153 without really stressing the drive train too badly. Wondering what kind of skid would have better travel, and fishing for ideas. I would like to use a 1" or 1.25" track.

I'm following this. I've been thinking of doing this but on my 79 440 exciter. But I was leaning towards just a 121 and a 1" track. But I'm aiming for a fast trail machine.

phazer st skid might work well. still supported by the aftermarket for parts as the are the same as phazer II skid. i put the phazer II skid into a polaris sprint last summer and it has awsome ski pressure and handles really well too.

I used a factory 136” skid from a 1998 Polaris rmk with a 136x1.25 track. Polaris skid bolts into stock holes, no drilling. For drivers I used a 7 tooth ski-doo with Barn-o-Parts driver adapters. With 8” ski skins my kids can go anywhere my 174x3” goes. It is amazing!

Funny you post this as I forgot all about it. Now I am gearing up to do it on a different sled. Going to try and go to 156.
