1999 Vmax SX 600 heavy throttle pull

My fiancé had wrist surgery awhile back so I’m trying to lighten the throttle pull on a 99 Vmax SX 600. Triple rack Mikuni carbs. Any one had any luck getting a lighter throttle pull? There’s nothing wrong with it, I think it’s pretty light but she’s. It happy with it.

On round slides, you could always cut some of the spring out to make the pull weaker, but not sure there is a solution for these flat slides.
There is still a spring on them somewhere that brings the throttle back, you would have to modify that I would think.

there is a comfort throttle extender that some use that is good for 75% of normal throttle but keeps stock throttle on there that can be used for wot.
