Hi there folks,
I recently purchased a 2002 SX Viper from a friend. Im wanting to change the rear skid and after searching your forum, I have many options to go with.
Im 220 lbs and would appreciate any input for this. I can buy a expertX for 350.00cnd It may require bushings/bearings. Im not sure. But when it comes down to it, i just want to do this once.
Hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I live right next to lake simcoe so i will be lake riding but 80% of my riding will be in groomed trails.
Can you also recommend what size paddle on the track would benefit me and what brand is your goto.
I was fortunate enough to put 145 kms on it last saturday in sudbury and it runs great. I just need a more plush ride.
Thanks in advance
Cheers

You can retrofit just about any skid. Just need correct measurements and most are on here. Expert x is nice also m10. A nice 1.5 casino or 1.6 cobra would make a nice track. I really like the 1.3 cobra on a viper.

if staying stock drivers with no studs or premoulded studs, i would only go 1-1/4" paddle on the track to keep the front tunnel protectors. still a vast improvement over the stock track.
