Hey guys, I see when people install their boost bottle they move out their engine to the left and shim out the secondary to match, where do you get these shims, can you buy them at yamaha?? I can't get any washere shis size and it would take forever to try to grind them down....
The reason im asking is because i did do this, then lighed my clutch up with the sledpro alignment tool, but after 56 km I tore the thread out of the side of my belt. I then done the simple check of putting a straight edge jammed in my secondary and dropped it down on my clutch and foud it's off a little, If I can put in a small shim instead of the big one i made should cure my problem easily.

Any Yamaha Dealer, Port or North Country should be able to set you up.

is there yamaha part number shims that I can buy? i have a local Yamaha Dealer close by, by the way did you try your sledpro alignment tool yet? I really don't like mine, so I went back to my measuring sticks to lign my machine back up...............a couple of small shims would help me for now,IM hoping to find some solid motor mounts so I can remove the shims under the sledpro tool and hope it will work better that way.......
you don't know where I can find some, or if they even make any do ya Mr Sled (aka The Yamaha GOD) hehe.

if I am not mistaken these are the same washers that you use on the helix side. 90201-225A4-00 WASHER, PLATE (T=1.0) and 90201-222F0-00 WASHER, PLATE (T=0.5) 2 different thickness.

I actually, went throught this tonight and ended up with the dremel tool. The washers on the helix side are not thr right inside diameter. I ended up making my own out of washers on the drill press and a dremel tool. I used 3 different washer thickness and I got them to work just fine. Doug
I know there is a part number for these washers....the only thing to do would be to call the dealer like Larry at NCY 715-453-2626....he might even know the part number off the top of his head.
