For non - nicasil steel sleeved cylinders a friend told me a while back that you can heat the entire jug in your oven to around 500 or 550 and then easily press the sleeve out with a press.
Also, can SRX cylinder be drilled out to accept a sleeve for stock bore or bigger bore?

With an SRX, why bother? Just send it to renicalizing if you seize it.

i have never done it but i have been told that to change sleeves in a transport, they weld inside the bore to shrink the sleeve so it comes out eayer.

Heating a sleeved cylinder in a oven at 500 for removal works.
To put the new sleeve in, reheat the cylinder and put the new sleeve in the freezer. The new sleeve will fall into place.
After doing some research, there is no reason to Sleeve a nicasil cylinder unless you are going to a big bore.
The steel sleeve retains more heat which makes it harder to transfer heat to the coolant jacket. Heat Robs HP
