My 01 SXR Redhead I put it away running last April and it ran fine. Stored indoor in a heated garage. ZERO rust on flywheel. Now the stator is bad again. This is the second time in 2 years. What should I look for? Bone stock sled. I have put in used OEM stators.

Could be a faulty voltage regulator, or a short somewhere in your harness. Used electrical components also can be hit and miss affair.
