Yamaha uses two different pistons for the 485 cc FC engine that can be found in the Phazer and Venture sleds.
They are fully interchangeable with each other, but they have different part numbers and also the price differs.

* ( 1984-2002 ) "TSS" sleds ---> 8V0-11631-00-96
* ( 1999-2008 ) "Pro-Action" sleds ---> 8DJ-11631-00-A0
...The question is what technically separates them ?
Maybee someone here on the TY forum have such a Yamaha OE piston lying on the shelf ?
