any drawbacks to lifting the rear 3” i’m about 275lbs and the rear of my sxr sits pretty low while riding, i had planned to get the shocks resprung and revalved this summer but never got around it. the low ride height makes it impossible to use reverse as the snow flap gets pushed into the track by snow. surprisingly my dad has a 97 venture and this isn’t a problem and he weighs slightly more than me. i noticed his venture has a different/ stiffer snow flap from the factory. maybe this would help but for the price of the lift kits i figured i’d give it a try if there are no adverse side effects ?

Shock geometry will be AFU and steering will su€k!! Just trim the bottom off of the flap for now. Get the shocks resprung,rebuilt & revalved this coming summer ... for sure.
