Which Primary Clutch cover is best?

I have two clutches for my redhead, the Venture primary has the taller cover and the SX has the shorter. What difference can I expect between the two covers? For the answer, assume that both clutches are using same weights and springs.

That's a good question. I thought that the tall cover had a wider selection. I was mistaken.

You can get higher engagement rpm with some of the tall cover springs from my experience.

IMO the tall cover is the better one. Seems like all new Yamaha springs fit it, plus all the clutch kits seem to be delivered with a spring to fit the tall cover.
