94 VMax 600 rear shock?

Anyone recognize this rear shock.



Haven't seen one like it on a Yamaha skid before. Currently on a 94 VMax 600. Guessing it may be an after market off of a VMax four? Any help would be appreciated.

that suspension looks like the mid 90's vmax st i have at home. skid is still in the sled as i just got the sled the skid is going into into the garage. might be an aftermarket replacement one as mine looked like black steel from what i remeber.
