Clutch buttons/ramp shoe

I noticed a broken clutch button on my secondary... 98 SRX 700. I’ve never had to change these before so I’m wondering how they come out and how they go in. Do you just pry them out with a screwdriver? It looks like they just push in. Do I need to put locktite on the new ones before putting them in? Any input would be great

Pry or Vice-Grip them. They slide it. No Locktite.

go oe for better button life. aftermarket ones might be good for a season if you are lucky.

Just changed some today. You can punch out the old ones threw the back.
