I have 1986 yamaha 485cc engine in a hovercraft and I cannot get the rpm to run over 5400, the fan needs to run about 6800 + to get the right lift, what can I do, i have taken the carbs off and cleaned them out the best I could, still the same runs right up to 5400 thats it, any advice would be appreciated
fan bearings (on motor) are good?
is it using the sled clutch?
