Srx 700 long travel

Hey guys, I own a 98 srx 700 and I would like to extend my rear travel to 11.5 inches and I have found a rear shock from a 2000 mountain max. Would that be all that is required or do I need to change front shock as well, limiter strap or any other parts?
I have heard people say to put viper shocks on but I have not found any yet

A mountain max shock is not longer if I remember. You need something fro a 97-2006 vmax xt, venture, viper. You don’t need the front shock but you will want to flip and swap front shock mounts to gain a little height. Also a viper front end would be nice also but it depends how much you want to spend. You also need both skid shocks, limiter straps and depending on year Of your SRX transfer rods. do a search as murder said above. Tons of information.
