Wondering if anyone has tried a drop bracket kit on their pro-action sled
I am contemplating buying one for my 98 srx.
I don’t mind my ride I would just like to gain some clearance in the deep stuff
Thanks

Do not, and I repeat do not do this. And please do not buy those junk ones off eBay. All they will do is mess up the geometry of the sled and hurt either the sled or in turn you. If you want a bit more height and travel do a proper long travel conversion. You will gain absolutely nothing by adding drop brackets to a short track.

Drop brackets do have their place.
If you primarily use your sled for backcoutry riding and have a sled that's been stretched to 136" / 144", setting the entire rear shock / transfer rode assembly back 7" and adding drop brackets to mimic the Mountain max / Venture economics and suspension geometry. Then you have a great handling sled that is much more capable off trails.
