I would like to add a tether to a 94 Vmax 600 LE, I notice that it looks like an option in the parts fiche. Is there a spare plug somewhere that I can plug into without splicing?

I believe they used a splitter wire part no. (89L-82318-00-00) to connect to the same connection as the main stop switch. Still available on eBay for about $15US.

There is no plug to use. You need to tap into the black and black/white stripe wires and solder in the two wires on a normally OPEN tether switch.
Don't cut the wires, just tap into them.

PS, the black wire is ground to chassis and stator. Black/white stripe is the CDI kill wire. When it is connected to ground it kills ignition. All the switches in the system are normally open and tapped into those two wires. Closing or turning any one of them off connects those two wires together and kills ignition.
