Yamaha RX1 first snowmobile?

I found a 2003 rx1 for $800 that needs a stator, I’m looking to get into snowmobiling and would like a project but I’m wondering if I should skip this one or go for it

Thats pretty cheap. Good sled, very fast. I would get it for 800 bucks. TY 4stroke will have alot of info for you
