I have 5 or 6 left over pieces of sliders roughly a foot long sitting around my shop. These are the ends I had to cut off to fit my skids and I just can't bring myself to throw them out because there just HAS to be something they're good for. What do you guys go with these cut off pieces?Throw them out?If you have used them for something else show us some pics.

You sir, may be a hoarder.... lol
Cannot the be used as tunnel protectors?
I think some people use them to shim the skis to get the pressure further back for darting. May need trimming.

The hoarding thing runs in the family lol.
I'm using square aluminum tubing as tunnel protectors.
I already shimmed my skis but I keeping a piece around to do more in the future is a good idea.

I use my cut offs for my fuel hand pump.
So, I have a hand pump, with 2 rubber hoses, one on each side of pump.
The one that goes into the tank will just coil up in there, so I zip tied the hyfax piece to the hose so the hose
Is now stiff.
That’s all I could figure out to do with them, lol.
