Bought a skid today outa a ss440. Can someone break down which years came w a 116 " skid and which came w a 121?. I need a 116 cant dont know the difference visually.
All SS440 had the same track from 1980 to 1985, if the tracks are the same the skid should be able to be bolted right in or retro fitted.
What MrSled said....All SS440 models regardless of the year used a 116" track/skid.
yup came with 116" skid unless some one relocated one to put on a 121" track. looking to do one i got with a 121-136" skid from a phazer II once i find a skid.
back when you could still get a replacement track for the ss440, kimpex told you to mount the stock skid further ahead and use a 108 track for an enticer in them.

Too bad your up north. I have 3 of those skids I would almost give away.

I believe the 1980 skid was different but all were 116" tracks. Have lots of skid parts for 81 up. Updated one of my SSS440's to a 121" using an 82 SRV skid but Phazer II skid is easier to find.

damn. they are getting hard to come by around here as i would take them all if i could.
keep you in mind for them though.
