So I bought a SRX700 with 7K on the motor. Rebuilt the carbs and she runs awesome. Im wondering what the year is? 1998 or 1999. Its say's it was made in 8/98. Do they round up if its later in the year?

Produced on 8/98 means it was manufactured for the '99 model year. Which one is it, a SRX or SXR? 2 completely different sleds.

Yes, to the best of my knowledge snowmobiles are always built for the next model year like he says. If the the tag says **/98 then it is a 1999 model.

Its a 1999 SRX triple,triple pipes. Thanks im glad its the 99 with better crank. Thats a big relief . I'll keep picking away at the cosmetic stuff. It has the ohlins front shocks. And differant higher rear suspension, as well. I think its a artic cat rear shock. Thanks again guys.
