Ran the Viper last weekend and when slowing down, the idle is sticking. I have to rev it a few times to get it down. I just cleaned the power valves and put heeel clickers on it. Any correlation?

Probably not, but you may have an air leak causing a lean condition. Have you cleaned the carbs recently? Double check throttle cable adjustment too, as that can cause a high idle.
Really, it just sounds like you're lean. How high is it idling?

The high idle problem is fairly common with the Vipers. Make sure your power valves are properly adjusted.

Mine does it also and so does my buddies. Wouldnt worry about it too much. Just tap the throttle a little and that should cure it. Dont think its anything to worry about.

you may need to turn out fuel screws to richen it up. but don't go more than 3 turns they will fall out. you'll have to change there settings as temps change.

Thanks for the replies. It never did this last year at all, only after I cleaned the valves, so it could not be lean or adjustment of the carbs. The idle is fine unless I have ridden. I have adjusted my freeplay but the clutch is off right now to solve my heel clicker tuning. I'll check the PV setting. Thanks.
