So i have an update on my sled for anyone who wants to follow it.
Had some time today to dig into it some more and it turns out the TROS had been completely bypassed. I cant even fine the wires coming out of the main harness. (but the carbs are set up for it)
any words of wisdom on that would be greatly appreciated.
The oil injection system has been bypassed, its still there but not hooked up.
Someone had been inside the throttle assembly, Im assuming for the TROS.
And the paint is peeling off the head and that makes me think it got hot at some point. I still want to do a compression check but i did get it to fire the other day.
Any other common things people bypass on these sleds? Anything to check in to other than the obvious stuff?
Im starting to think this sled is going to be a headache.. lol
I downloaded a pdf manual for it but if anyone has a helpful link or some info on the TORS system, that would be awesome.

are the wires on the carbs still connected for the TORS? or are they plugged into each other.

No, It looks like someone clipped the wires off the carb and pulled them out.

i could understand the ones on the carb switch getting cut but not the ones in the harness.
