Last weekend, I started my pre-GO! checklist on my sled.
re:
- Check its tool box
- Check its main belt / check its spare belt
- Replace its gear box oil
- Check its choke movement
- Check its brake pad thickness
- Check its lights
- Fire up and check its engine (at idle and all RPM ranges).
- Grease its many parts
- etc. etc.
To my surprise, my sled needs its 3 x carbs cleaned, new spark plugs (arrived today) and a new tow rope (arrived today). Its tow rope got dry rot during summer months and it needed to be replaced.
Just a little reminder to do pre-GO! checks in advance and where needed, apply maintenance tasks during our current better fall weather time. And, advance time allows one to order any online needed parts - that may have slow shipping time delays (due to Covid `slow down` restrictions).
