I'm new to the forum so thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
My 2009 Apex LTX GT is at the shop and the mechanic is reporting a problem. He says oil is not cycling through the oil pump to the engine. He says there is some sort of blockage that he can't clear. He tried a litter air pressure and filling the oil filter and engine with oil to prime it, no dice. He's now checking for any crimped lines. He said if he can't find anything then the engine would need to come out, which frankly wouldn't be worth it on an 11 year old machine.
FYI - The oil reservoir was changed last year. The sled ran fine before that and hasn't been used since. The reservoir is full of oil but the oil can't seem to make it's way into the engine. As a result I likely also ran it mostly dry for a few minutes.
Any thoughts? I was thinking maybe some sore of air lock, but the mechanic doesn't think so.
