Tunnel Stiffeners??

I’m curious if anyone has any info related to the blue Yamaha tunnel stiffeners that I’ve seen on some 2002 SX Vipers. We’re these factory installed parts ? Or can the be added as an accessory?

they were an accessory that could be ordered through yamaha at the time. I hammered a tube up in the rolled lip of my running boards because they started cracking. definitely stiffened things up though

they have not been availible for over 10 years. i got my dads set on here used back in 08 as i could not find new then.
