So my prong on my temp sender broke off and I need to replace it. Searching on Yamaha's parts website it says I need 8CC-85790-01-00. When I look up the part, the picture does not look like the sender I have. The electrical connections are different. Did they change the design? I only found a used sensor with my type of connection.
If I buy the new sensor, I will have to change the pigtail / electrical connector (which I'm fine with) but it's just bugging me that they are different. I attached pics....

The first pigtail is a broken one. It is supposed to look like the second pic.
Also, Yamaha still offers a pigtail kit for these, only about $10
