Small hole on stock silencer ?

Hi guys, i found a little hole on top of my silencer ?! Do you know what could be the cause ?! Sled is almost mint condition so i dont think rust... Vmax 700 1998

might be where a baffle was welded on inside. seen them start cracking there before. just braize the hole shut and should be fine.
