Help with PowerMad hand guards install

I have seen alot of you TYers with these hand guards, so i bought a pair for my 2000 SRX, but i don't seem to have any room to install as per instructions, can anybody post some picks on where to install, do i have to move the throttle and brake to install(i hope not)........Reaper
 
Ok, i will try, i should be ok on the brake side because i will be adding hook and longer brake lever and with the new 2" riser this will give the the brake line a little more slack, but i am also adding hook on throttle side and was concerned about not be able to fully reach it, now if i cheat it back some to fit handguard bracket it will be even futher away, can i get a longer throttle lever that will fit my SRX, is the Viper's longer and would it fit,........HELP................Reaper
 
I think i have solved my problem, looks like if i drill out rivet holding grip, move grip down enough to install handguard,drill new hole, put new rivet, trim off excess off grip, this should work because i am also installing hook at this side and was going to shave down the tapered end so a little trim off the end should hurt......right?.............Reaper
 
Actually did not trim off excess just pull it over the hook, i cut out hole smaller than hook so it's a tight fit, looks good, will post pic later..........Reaper
