1995 VMAX seat removal.

The rear hand warmers on my dx don't work anymore. It appears as though they get their power from the tail light. I don't want to start trying to take this apart with out some advice. Thanks!

The service manual has the wiring diagram and testing procedure for the heated grips. Pretty simple to disconnect the wiring connectors at the rear for each grip and measure the resistance to see if they are in spec. If they are then the problem is not the grip itself. If you register as a member on TY you can request a copy of the service manual.

Well, the grip warmers were fine. The wiring inside the seat is not. I'm going to have run some new wires.
