trying to figure out what I have for gears in my 98 xtc 700. guessing the xtcdb is something to do with deluxe which mine isnt. theres also an xtcpb. how do I know what I have!!
model not on title/ownership?

dont need a title here just bill of sale. so registration just says xtc because that is what was written on bill of sale
might have to call a dealer or someone that can enter the ser # to find out the exact model without pulling chain case cover and counting teeth.

i might just pull the cover. have to lift motor up again. chasing oil leak somewhere. think I missed a line. ugh so annoying!!! about ready to just make it a parts sled for my other one with alot less miles!! bit was my late grandfather's sled at one point so always favored it over the other one.
i know what you mean. brother has my grandmothers sled preserved in his garage and i have one of my late uncles vk 540's that i still run and use.
22/39 is stock.

hmmm I have a 21t from a parts phazer 500. wonder if I should go with that or keep the 22t and find a 40t. hopefully I can keep stock chain if I keep the 29 and jump up to the 40t
