Coolant in cylinder

I have a 98 srx 600. Ran perfect last year. Was getting it ready the other day and noticed coolant in mag cylinder. I pulled the head off and the o rings looked good, I ordered new ones. someone said it could be the water pump seal, but wouldnt the crank seal have to be bad also?

Won't be the water pump seal unless the weep hole is blocked which I doubt.
