I've just replaced all the idler bearings, and when reassembling the rear idlers/tensioner, I notice that the clutch side outside idler bearing overhangs the start of the thread. Is this the way it should be? I have washers on either side of the tensioners as shown in the parts diagram.

Yes, it needs to be like that or it won't jam everything tight. The washers should be on both sides of each rail, not the tensioner.
