Hi-
I have an '81 SRV that had newly replaced fuel lines on it when I got it. Runs great except on warm days. It appears when the air temp rises, the fuel gets bubbles in it, it will idle but not really run until it sets for awhile, kind of a vapor lock situation. Then it repeats itself if the air temp is still above 33 degrees. Two things I think would be worthc checking into- 1. The fuel lines are quite long, it would be very easy to shorten them by close to 50% which would allow less fuel to warm up inside engine compartment. 2. the lines are basically routed across the top of the motor, which I'm thinking were originally routed down below the engine where it's cooler. Any suggestions on how they were routed when new from factory? Thanks for your suggestions, have a great day.
