Thinking of buying my grandfathers 2002 viper er once my 04 viper mountain sells. He has had it stored in a metal shed for what I’d guess around 10 years. Very little use out of the sled he says under 1000 miles I want to say around 800. Tracks been off the ground and it looks like there’s very little gas in the tank. Seems the mice have been in and around but I don’t see any visible damage, at least not yet anyway. What should I look for on this thing before starting it? I plan on cleaning the carbs, emptying the rest of the gas, putting a little oil in the cylinders, new plugs, and changing the chain case oil. Anything else I’m missing? Probably gonna drain and refill the oil also.

Really just a thorough inspection and cleaning of the entire fuel system.
Appears to be a nice find.
