I have seen videos of small engine work where the host used a main jet drill bit kit to either clean or enlarge a carbs main jets. I believe it was a Mikuni kit,which isn't available any more, so I'd like to know if anyone has done this,what did you use and where did you get it? Also I see some thread online where reaming is recommended vs drilling. I have a handful of small main jets that I can upsize to what my needs are now and yes I can easily just buy new one of the sizes needed. I'm looking for info on these main jet drilling sets or an alternative.
i had gotten my set of jet drill bits through my snap on tool dealer when i started screwing around with the jetting on my xt350 when i started modding it.
Would you be able to get a part number for the set by chance? My dealer stops on Tuesdays and I'll see if it's still available.
set is at my brothers where the bike is as he is still playing with the jetting on it.
