Its come to my attention that Inhave zero dampening left in the skid.
What are the options nowdays for new shocks?

well i did find a part # from royal distributing for an 01 vmax 500 dlx for rear main shock witch should be the same dimensionally. part # is 04-288. it is the same one as for the 02-05 venture.
i do know that the 03-04 rx 1 skid shocks are the same. the 04-05 rx warrior front skid shock is the same dimensions. i know that the venture (00-05) skid shocks do match up dimensionally but are steel bodied non rebuildable. the ones form a mountain max rear skid work too as those are the ones we found a set of olins on here that i bought from a member from the rear are what we ran on the back of brothers 02 viper and now are on my dad's 05 sx venture 700.

I think I have a 5 gallons pail of shocks somewhere. Maybe should just put a set of xtc type shocks in it.
Now to see if any of them still hold a charge or not. If not, will re check royal.
