Has anyone found a compatible replacement for the thermostats for the 98-02 SRX? Like many other important parts for this sled, they seem to be discontinued……
yes, and they fail alot. I used to get a lot of wrecked and blown srxes, used to chuck the water rails. Should have kept the stats in retrospect.
had a few water rails left in the trailer. Friend had a failed stat, three water rails later, he had to order a new one from Yamaha cause they were all bad. now they don't even sell them. Horrible idea to mount the stat sideways, failure is immanent. They stick in partial warmup loop.
