Are there any gains or has anyone tried welding up the seams on the factory Y pipe and then smoothing back out?
I know some machines especially in the vintage era would benefit from this.
Also has anyone ever tried making a reducing sleeve to put in the outlet of the expansion chamber?

Great ideas, have never heard anyone discuss that on here before. Filling the seam im sure couldn’t hurt.
