Heading up to Gwinn in the UP this weekend with my wife and some friends, any one else going to be in the area? I would like to meet some other TYers. Looks like they're going to have some good riding with some new snow. Been looking forward to this for a long time. I only have 400 miles in this year and it's time to put on another 600-800. :WayCool: ;)!

Darn....I live just up the road in Marquette, and would love to get together with some other TY riders, but my wife and I are headed for our cabin over in Curtis Friday to spend the weekend.

I had planned on the TY ride in Munising last weekend, but due to a lack of snow and a surprise visit from some out of town friends, I wasn't able to make it over.

The Sands plains just north of Gwinn are a great place for lots of off trail riding...just watch for the hidden stumps with the low snow levels.

Yooper - I just got back in town last night from KI Sawyer. Stayed at the Red Fox Inn. We had a blast and the trails for the most part were awesome. Only in and just around towns were they a little "snirty". We past maybe 50sleds over three days and 500 miles. First day we went to Miner's Castle, what a view!!! That was around 154 miles. Second day we went up to Fleech (spelling) and that was also a great ride around 165 miles. On the last day we ride up to Big Bay to eat a great burger. That was around 175 miles. I'll post some pics when I can. We go up there every, sorry we missed you we'll try again next year. Sure wished we could have stayed the whole week, but got to do the work thing. All the sleds ran great, there were 11 of us in all. Poo's, Doo's and Yammies...of course the yammies were by far the best on gas. twice as good as the twin piped Poo's. Even with my triple piped viper!! Of course my wife's vector did very well. Some really cold mornings and she fired up first crank.

Viped,
i might have seen you on sunday, did you head east from Gwinn on sunday,
i rember passing a large group that had some vipers, some doos and some cats on the railroad grade while headed east.
