Scored this new old stock hens tooth out of Japan... it’s the larger 46PRX damper, which has all three adjustments, rebound + high and low compression. Unsure if I’ll use it, hang it on the wall with some of the others, or sell it… I could try to duplicate it if we can get a similar cylinder head from Ohlins.

Nice find...!
No matter if you want to build the 46PRC shock (Ohlins part number YA636) or the 46PRX shock (Ohlins part number YA232 / YA332), I think you can still find the cylinder heads. Ohlins part numbers are 880-52 for the 46PRC and 4680-02 or 4883-02 for the 46PRX. Last time I checked they were still available.

Thank you for the 4883-02 part number (4680-02 shows a big no), it does appear as possibly available through Ohlins USA, likely needs to be ordered in from Sweden.

Did any Yamaha sleds come with this in the back shock as standard equipment?

Yes, even a Venture will benefit from the gold!
Not that I am aware of or can track down through Ohlins. The only rear OEM Ohlins rear shocks that I have found are the various Monoshock units from the Apex and Attak.

Ohlins rear shocks for the Pro Action skid were never installed as OEM equipment. Most of them were supplied as aftermarket equipment through Ohlins dealers and service centers and a few countries also had them listed in more or less official Yamaha accessories catalogs.
