Will the carbs from a 2002 Viper work on a 99 Vmax 600 triple?
Part numbers match please disregard my question. I was blonde before grey.
They may work with proper tuning but they are definitely not the same. Vmax 600 triple carbs are 31mm and Viper carbs are 33mm. Throttle slides are likely different as well as other tuning components. You can certainly try the Viper carbs, I would expect to lose some fuel mileage as well as torque/throttle response compared to the smaller carbs.
Thank you, after comparing the two I decided to clean the vmax carbs. I have a spare set of Viper carbs that were already clean. Tried to take the easy way out. >
