My brother rides a 2001 MM700 that we have added plenty of zoom zoom parts to including SLP triple pipes. That sled pulls hard and likes to climb high with the 156" track we installed. The sled is only revving to around 8100rpm at full song and I'm told that the Yamaha 700 triple can handle quite a bit more than that. Where does one go to find clutch parts for this beast besides Yamaha and what are some of the hot tricks for these. Should we install a team clutch? The secondary looks very similar to a arctic cat from that period. I've heard rumors that people install Polaris drive clutches, are the tapers on the crank the same? Is this a good or bad idea?

have you tried removing the tip weight on the weights in there? with stock pipe, those wanted 8600 rpm for the yamaha tripples on stock exh. odds are those pipes want more anyways.
