Talked to my dealer today about pricing and it does not seem like they are going to budge to much on there prices because they seem to be thinking they will get alot of new converts. So guess who is going to get it in the rear again! ;):D

wow that sounds like a great dealer, sounds like Kieffers in southeastern WI, they like to keep a lot of sleds on the floor all year for decoration i think ;):D

I live in southern Wisconsin, and I am yet to find a good Yamaha dealer. We only have 2 that are close by and neither has impressed me much.
The first is Shogren Motorsports in Janesville, WI. First of all, they have openly stated that the only thing they care about selling and servicing are ATVs and bikes. Granted, it makes sense in southern Wisconsin, but what about people who live there but ride their sleds in Minocqua or the U.P.? Also, when you order something from them they basically cant be trusted. The will say a part will be in on a certain day, but it almost NEVER arrives on that day and they also say they will call you when a part comes in, but they never do! I recently ordered a windshield for my XC. They told me it would be in Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. I go there Tuesday afternoon and they tell me it wont be in untill Wednesday. Luckily for me, I didnt go up north untill Wednesday night, but what if I had gone up Tuesday and needed that windy?
Ive also been to Rock River Powersports in Jefferson, WI. They are a little bit better than Shogren, but not much. I went there and wanted to order a service manual for my Phazer. They told me they couldnt even order me on because the sled was too old (it was a '90). Later that day, I was messing around on yamaha-motor.com and what do I find? A way to order a service manual for my Phazer directly from Yamaha! Needless to say, I was not very happy.
Now, I deal only with dealers in the Minocqua area. Heckel's Marine in Eagle River, WI is pretty good, as is Ken's Marine in Minocqua, WI. Both dealers are more into sleds and actually have knowledge of the stuff they sell.
Now, about price. I think that if the '06s are good sellers (which I think they will be) you wont get a great price because of the demand for them. They dealers will know that if you dont pay the price they want, someone else probably will.
