What would cause a no spark issue but when cranking with the key, the headlight glows. Could this still be a stator?
rusty flywheel. did a 97 sx700 for my brother a few years ago that was doing the same things.
Flywheel is clean. I am stumped.
just had a doh! moment. check for spark while cranking with key and by using pull start. seen an old doo loose spark when cranking with key before. buddy reached in and had it fixed before i discovered what was doing it.
