As title states..looking at a reverse kit for my 2000 Mountain Max and buying a used kit from a guy but no idea what gears are in it and wondering if my stock gears can be used with all the other components from the reverse kit??
the upper gear and chain, yes. the lower no if memory serves as the last one i installed was back in 2013.

Correct. Lower no and there wasn’t many options either.
