Hello been awhile since Ive been here. I have a 94 600 with GYTs and a 96 500 XT. 1st question........What P-85 clutches fit these sleds, need 2 clutches and most buddies are Polaris so parts a plenty. What models or even part numbers would be better as I have access to shelves of P-85s so number would be better. 2nd question.....Swapping engines, .......dont want to do top end swap....... The harnesses seem different but could the stators/pickups be swapped to match the rightful sled and be ok with the mismatched CDIs. Thanks hopefully some one chimes in and tests their memory. Thanks
Almost all tapers are the same. The Polaris primary clutches did vary as far as offset(the relation of the sheaves as to how close or far away from the engine.)
I had a 95 a very long time ago and stuck a Polaris clutch on. I think I had to use 10-58 weights.
