i have an oil pump cable to replace on a 78 et340. any tips or tricks to this job? never had to do one before.

I've done it before. You'll figure it out, it's relatively straight forward.
had to pull the intake and screwed the oil injection lines up. waiting on lines to put it back together all the way. the vk540 III cable hooks right up. gotta change the pulse line while intake is off but it was pretty simple once i got the screws from 78 loose with vice grips.
