so its bin many yrs since iv had a 2s yamaha, recently got one for my son,02 vmax 700 , my question is , is there a go to clutch kit for these? or spring? i had a 97 sx 700 in 1999! and that thing was clutched very well from the factory, i never touched it,dont want to tske away reliably or durability just curious of any upgrades.... from what i see in the repair manual looks like all model secondarys were the same in all models... only different colors springs in primary depending on models

https://totallyamaha.com/Totallyamaha/mainTechIndex.html in the user clutching charts there are a few good set ups. i would swap out for aftermarket ones as they are easier to adjust over oe ones. only problem is heel clickers are no longer availible. have had good luck with thunder shift or super tip weights before.
