so i picked up a set of rebuilable shocks from a 05 viper, real nice shape allmost new to replace the stock non rebuilable ones.... sny specs on proper set up? more for the center shock preload and rear

front of skid shock, you want the spring stiff to rotate by hand with it installed in the sled.
rear skid shock, with the fra (slotted hole) set to middle, i then tighten the spring so that the transfer rods are at 60/40 (bottom/top) with the sled sitting on the ground with the or a rider sitting on the sled in riding position. do not try to set it on the shop roller skate dollys as it messes up the settings for the rear suspension. others will say 50/50 but the way i reccomended compensates for the snow that sticks to the tunnel of the sled when riding.

ok good deal.... that sounds good, i have a set of viper adj tranfer rods i modified to get s little more transfer... was allready thinkin i wanted tve center stiff and rear sum what softer to get it to transfer as best i could with the noaction suspension lol..... question... i have not started replacing shocks ... lookin at the rear viper shock the bushings look to have roller pin bushings and a collar is used to go threw that then mounting bolt threw collar.... im wondering if i will need to purchase those collors or would the sled have em allready with the non rebuilable?... just teyin to have all parts ready , thanks for the get back maim!!front of skid shock, you want the spring stiff to rotate by hand with it installed in the sled.

with the set up i gave you it will wheelie when you pull on the bars and mash the throttle. i just like it to ride well and lift the skis with the throttle on the bigger rollers on the trail.

thats what im after... my son mainly rides this 700 as i still love to get on it allso!! but after riding my uncoupled sw its just another level of fun with transfer !from looking at the parts fiche, it looks to be removable and able to transfer to the new shock.
