Could anyone post the service manual section on the proper way to remove the carbs and reeds from a 99 srx? Or if anyone is good at listing a how-to on this. Had carb's out a while ago and I remember making a bigger job out of it than needed to be. Don't want to do that again.

To get the carbs off all you have to do is remove the airbox, disconnect the fuel lines and antifreeze lines to the carbs, disconnect the choke and throttle cables and the carbs come right off. After the carbs come off the reeds are easy to get off, you will see how when the carbs are removed. I'm not sure what you are having a problem with, but taking the carbs off is a very simple procedure, just remember how things off so you can put them on the exact same way.
